Comic Con Festival 2022 is just around the corner! Hosted at Convention Centre, Dublin, it is being called Ireland’s Biggest Pop Culture Event in ’22. This fandom event is perfect for the whole family to enjoy. It offers you the chance to get your hands on some prime collectables, meet the Hollywood stars and much more.
Interaction, Sets and Cosplay
With so much to do, you will want to get there early! This year sees interactive sets where you can become part of your favourite show or movie. They will offer some great photo opportunities for your cosplay backdrops. The Cosplay Village will be showcasing costumes, a costume repair station, cosplay guests and free photo backdrops. Be recognised when signing up for the costume contest.
DCC retailers from all over Europe will be there. A wide range of memorabilia from high-quality figurines to comic books to plushies and more means you can get your hands on some high-sought-after goods. Perhaps you can have them autographed by the stars and creators themselves? Or support independent artists who will be showcasing their talents. You will find escape rooms, Virtual Reality, 360 Cameras and more!
Get to meet your heroes
Comic Con will have a host of experts holding panels on everything from special effects, cosplay, game development, and of course the stars of the shows. If you have ever had a burning question to ask about a superhero shooting fire without burning himself, or how zombies survive so long, this is your chance. Rumour has it that Hellboy will be giving tips on horn care this year.
